WHAT?
Young people’s career choices are shaped by what they are exposed to, and what remains invisible. At the same time, organisations across the Arctic region need new perspectives, skills, and engagement from the next generation.
WHO SHOULD JOIN?
This deep dive brings together students, educators, business leaders, and public sector actors to explore how stronger and more continuous connections between youth and working life can be built in the North.
The session has two core objectives:
- To build a shared understanding of expectations, perceptions, and needs across youth and employers.
- To develop concrete ideas and concepts for how young people can gain real exposure to working life, influence opportunities, and access clearer pathways into future careers in their own region.
Through facilitated interaction and service design methods, participants will work collaboratively to explore new perspectives and generate bold, tangible ideas. The session emphasises shared thinking, creativity, and momentum, aiming to spark new ways of connecting youth and working life that can be taken forward beyond the session.

Eivind Reibo
Graphic and service designer in Reibo Grafisk Design and partner at Plenum Tjenestedesign.
Eivind works with service design and visual communication, helping organisations turn complex challenges into clear and usable experiences. His approach combines strategic thinking with strong visual and conceptual design, focusing on collaboration and iterative development.
He also brings experience from the “Tromsø som verdens beste studentby» (Hackathon) project, where he worked with UiT – The Arctic University of Norway on rapid, hands-on service design processes. Solving real challenges through prototyping, teamwork, and testing ideas in practice. Like in this workshop.
